Therapies

What happens during a therapy

It will be necessary for you to complete a full health and medical consultation which will be signed and dated by the therapist and yourself before the therapy commences. This assists the therapist to have a clear treatment plan. There may be some instances where massage is contra-indicated so please do contact me for further information or questions.  It is also important to keep the medical consultation up to date so please let me know of changes.

You will be invited to make yourself very comfortable and relaxed on my massage couch. I will begin the treatment using a massage medium (usually almond oil or an alternative) allowing you to drift into a deeper relaxation.

I will also mention that all information is held securely and confidentially and is never shared elsewhere. On occasions I may contact you with therapy news relating to new therapies, wellbeing information or offers via email in which case I would ask for your consent before doing so.  This could also be discussed at the time of your consultation.
